no. its a rawk band. souls for sale, into the pink and la musica negra are three albums worth checking out. they have split now but i think the front man scott bondy is releasing solo stuff.

Huh. I've never heard of them. I'll have to look them up on youtube. I think I've seen soap and stuff like that that's verbena so that's why I thought it was a plant.

oh no! They're from Alabama http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verbena_(band) but they sound pretty good on the youtube. Austin is in Texas.

youre right as it goes. it is a plant. its a bummer when searching for them.they are really loud and sleazy. lazy journos likened them to nirvana. i think dave grohl produced into the pink. think they might have actually come from birmingham so forgive my dodgy geography. jeez your country is biiiiig.
