I'm listening to the debut record from The Moondoggies, "Don't Be a Stranger". I kept crossing paths with it this week, and finally found out what it was and picked it up.

Ryan Adams. So much Ryan Adams. Especially "Cold Roses," "Come Pick Me Up," "Rescue Blues."

Just saw him live, one of the best shows I've been to in ages. Also saw him walking down the street before the show, he seems like a cool guy.

According to my Last.fm profile, a lot of The Fiery Furnaces, Pavement and The Flaming Lips.

Also, a friend got me onto Hum so I've been giving 'Downward is Heavenward' a spin.

I listen to Wilco 24/7! i'm a nut...Being There is my favorite album, and nothing is greater than hearing them play live. They'll always be the greatest band I ever saw!

However, I'll listen to Heavy Metal Drummer and um, Laminated Cat

I really like Wonderlick - they just put out a new album, its like an indie alternative album with a pop punkish flare (real pop punk, not like Fall Out Boy or one of those bands) - anyone else like them?

Also loving Spoon X3... I got all three shows, but I love the July 9th show the most as of now, as far as the setlist goes, and how the band sounds so fresh and on their game. However, I love having the other two shows because of the songs unique to them. Which show do you guys like?

Stumbled across a complete set of Joe Strummer's London Calling radio shows this evening, and am just starting to make my way through them -- have a listen yourself:

I am listening to the Wilco discography in essence, mostly YHF, Being There, Summerteeth, and the brand new record... Also various live tracks.

PS: Wilco is NOT overrated, and A Ghost Is Born is amazing

I'm listening to Written in Reverse over and over and over! Just bought Bright Eyes' "A Christmas Album" on snow white vinyl. Bright Eyes' "Four Winds EP" love both! I also bought The Stills' "Oceans Will Rise". The album is so so, a few good tracks. But it was part of the vinyl 50% off sale. So it was $7.50 new. Not too shabby
