Were any other Houstonites at the show last night?

It was the best show I've seen all year, hands down! Danced/hopped/shimmied like a fool. Well worth the one $8 plastic bottled domestic beer (Crikey!) I ever so slowly consumed because I had just spent more money on a near tepid beverage than I spent on parking my car for the night.

Tired. May post again about details. Hungry. Breakfast. Yes.

haha pretty expensive bottle, are you sure it was domestic? haha they're going to Stubb's here in Austin. I'm not too big of a fan though.

Of the four times I've seen them this was by far my least favorite show. That said, thought the show was strong overall. The 50-minute setlist disappointed me b/c I thought the guys had more integrity than that (maybe someone was ill?)- did this not frustrate you? The five minutes I saw of the Dirtbombs made me a believer, though.

Aw, no! Well, it was my first time seeing them live so I had nothing to compare that show to. Plus, it helped that I was surrounded by a group of really excited people :) Of course, had they played longer, it would have been even more fantastic. I'll definitely see them again.
As for The Dirtbombs - I saw their entire show. Great band, but more of a Bar Band, really. It was fun seeing them enjoy themselves on stage so much - that energy was infectious!
