    I think my favorite shows from these five were 2nd night Seattle and Eugene. That second night in Seattle was so much fun because the crowd was really into it so much more than the night before and they did Vittorio E, one of my top favorite Spoon songs. And that was the night Britt handed me his setlist when they were done. :) Eugene was a very young crowd and I didn't expect a lot of people to be there because Conan O'Brien was in town that same night- they did two encores and it was such a great performance from the band throughout the night. Funniest thing I saw during this tour was on the first night of the Seattle shows, in the middle of their set, Jim points out to Britt that there's someone in the crowd sleeping. This guy was about fourth or five rows back, slouched down on his seat, head back, sleeping. Britt climbed down from the stage and woke the guy up. It was hilarious!

    I'm seeing them again tonight at Jimmy Kimmel's show...

    Renee, your photos are sexcellent! I have some photos from their Denver shows that I still need to upload to Flickr, but they're not as good as yours!

    Yes, I agree with libz! Amazing amazing photos - totally wish I could have gone to all those shows too!
    I also spent a ridiculous amount of time on your blog while attempting to write a paper. That's fantastic as well!

    Thanks, libz and electrofervor! :) :)

    I don't know if anybody from this board is from Northern California, but this might interest you if you wanna see Spoon in June:

    Live 105's BFD
    Sunday 06/06/10 at 11:00 AM
    Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View
    Mountain View, CA

    Sublime with Rome
    Deftones
    Hole
    Silversun Pickups
    Cage The Elephant
    Spoon

    That is one awful lineup. Minus Spoon, I think I hate everybody else there. Ok, maybe not Hole- I wouldn't mind seeing them.

    And I found more tour dates:
    Live Nation shows a Toronto date on July 8 where they're opening for the Flaming Lips.
    Facebook and last.fm are showing some UK and European dates in November.

    I actually saw Cage the Elephant at Summerfest, last year when I saw Spoon. They opened for "Airborne Toxic Even". Cage the Elephant was one of the most energetic bands I've ever seen. I bought the album after I saw them too. It was actually a great great show. That's a band whose live show crushes any recording they can put down.

    Sorry Tyler! I agree with you that they're energetic- I saw them perform a song at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas last year and the lead singer jumped into the crowd and sorta looked like he was convulsing and then crowdsurfed through the audience. Their music wasn't doing much for me though. :/

    Thanks for posting that info on BFD. Of course, it's taking place three days after I leave the Bay Area... though I agree; aside from Spoon, that's quite a lame lineup.

    Renee, you were at KROQ, too? I was there too and have the same sentiments on Cage. The funny thing was I was in Vegas the night before for another radio fest... and Cage was there, as well... so I got Cage two nights in a row, haha!

    Here's who else is playing BFD, according to LiveNation:

    * The Gaslight Anthem
    * Against Me!
    * Flyleaf
    * The Temper Trap
    * Dirty Heads
    * The Soft Pack
    * Far
    * Middle Class Rut

    Here's a YouTube playlist of some videos I recorded at their SXSW and Denver shows this spring.

    And here are my pics from their two Denver shows on April 5 and 6 - a couple are posted below. Enjoy!
