I made a short film with my friend Patrick, called "the layers". I created a cover with classical guitar of "My Mathematical Mind" which plays as music in this film.

    Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-MwV1kb30Y

What cool examples (Stranger than Fiction being one of them) of Spoon music or references do you know in film, TV, anything?

Well, of course there's Rob T. of Cupid and Veronica Mars fame, who puts all his buddies in his shows one way or another -- Britt D. covered "Veronica" by Paul McCartney & Elvis Costello on a VM episode, natch! Others seen and heard have included the Wannabes, Cotton Mather's Robert Harrison (just ran into him last week, btw), Coffee Sergeants, etc. (One time Rob put a character with my name in one Cupid episode, but I din't get how it was supposed to resemble me at all!)

Back when Gimme Fiction was new, there was a Jaguar ad that used "I Turn My Camera On", I believe. It was nice.

The Infinite Pet in "500 Days of Summer". Thought that was a weird choice.

Th Underdog in "I Love You Man".

2 Movies I really like, just off the top of my head.

Written In Reverse was played on Conan the week of his last episodes. That maybe wasn't on the list since the show got cancelled. But I have it taped from TV. Don't remembere the exact date. I wanna say it was a Wednesday amd the last episode was Friday of that week.

    1. I thought it was funny that you had that on VHS.

    2. I looked up the release date...July, 2007

    3. Jeez, that's over five years...

    4. I can't believe I m still hanging out on this board.

    5. No need to worry about converting that VHS to CD, I guess!
