"In The Right Place The Right Time" and "Is This The Last Time?" are on the Devil's Dishes compilation, as are the Kill the Moonlight demos. The alternate version of "Don't Let It Get You Down" is actually on iTunes. Can't help you with the other two.

Thank you very much to pherron for those songs, really wonderful!

And thank you to Gabriel, I still went to itunes and bought all tracks that I was looking for, just for good measure. I make a point to support bands that I love when I can!

I was going to post links to "In The Right Place The Right Time" and "Is This The Last Time?" but see there's no need. I went through hell to get these 2 tracks, but it was so worth it. They are brilliant. "Is This The Last Time" is probably one of my all time Spoon faves, along with "Monkey Feelings"... who knew?

I was wondering why you went through hell? They both pop up on several different releases, vinyl and CD.

i'm not sure where they can be found now, but at the time i was looking for them - they were only on the Someone Something 7". I'm not so technologically inclined as to purchase the vinyl and transfer it to digital format, so the process was a bit of a drag - but definitely worth it.

I guess both CD releases would be import only for you. They appear on the UK 'Jonathon Fisk' CD and the Australian 'Stay Don't Go' CD.

Does anyone know where I can download the following:

    I'm looking for
Drake Tungsten - Clocking Out is for Suckers
    Everything Hits at Once EP
    Anything You Want EP
The Way We Get By EP

If anyone cant point me in the right direction if it's allowed it would be very appreciated. I've been trying to find these EP forever. BTW I'm an avid supporter of the Band. I've bought all of their albums and most of their records on vinyl. I'm only asking because I can't actually find this stuff.

I am new to the band and really enjoy the music. I have bought a few albums, but cannot find the song that drew me to the band originally. It is "I could be underground". I found the acoustic, but am looking for the "original"? version. Can someone help me out?

It's a bit tricky to track down 'I could be underground'. It is on the '30 Gallon Tank' 7" which is still available from Peek-A-Boo Records website for $3. The only CD release was as a bonus on the UK release of 'A Series Of Sneaks' on 12XU Records which is now out of print.

I believe it is available on iTunes as well. That's where I got it.

The one song i'm stumped at finding is Shake it Off. I just bought a copy of the split with Swearing at Motorists, but i'd like a digital copy of the song. I can't seem to find a copy of the Anything You Want cd that has Shake it Off on it. It seems like most of the releases from the Girls Can Tell era are pretty rare.

Yes Girls can tell era things are very rare. I don't have a lot.....I have the Devil's dishes. Home Vol. 4 (which both Britt songs are on). All the studio albums, and unofficial crap recordings I recorded at their concert. :( I don't even have Love Ways EP! I want it bad, but don't really want Mp3s unless I have to.

It was also a bonus on the UK release of 'A Series Of Sneaks' on 12XU Records but that is now out of print. I can let you have a digital file copy if you want via Mediafire (FLAC or MP3), just say if you do. I have original copies of just about anything if anyone wants MP3 or FLAC of out of print stuff.

If it isn't too much trouble that would be great, I've yet to hear it, and I'm really interested in finally checking it off my list.

Hey I just found a good website for getting Spoon vinyls and rarities. They had some 7" and 12"s as well as some cd's. http://www.musicstack.com/show.cgi

Does anyone know what the story is behind the song Confession is a Long Walk Home? It appears it was released on this site around 2002, but I can't find it anywhere. Is it a variation of another song, or a whole new one? Very interested in hearing this, thanks for any help about it!

It's a demo version of 'Stay Don't Go' from Kill The Moonlight. It's very similar to the final album version just he sings 'it's a long walk home' instead of 'stay don't go'.

Another Spoon rarity is available on the Merge compilation "Various Artists - SCORE! 20 Years of Merge Records: THE REMIXES!- CD" which features a John McEntire remix of The Ghost Of You Lingers. If you are a Spoon obsessive completest nerd like me then you'll be ordering right away!

I could've sworn "The Way We Get By" was being sold for $5 at the shows this tour. It has the single and then 6 radio performances, right? Has a bird on the cover? Is this what you're wanting?

Yes that's it!! It's not even available on their site, or through Merge. It's expensive on Amazon because it's IMPORTED. I wish I could get it for 5 dollars!!!!!

By the way, I'm surprised that this was available at shows for $5. It must be old stock. It was put out in the UK only on the 12XU label a long time ago. Spoon haven't been with 12XU since 2003.
