I'd love to see some Spoon tracks as downloadable content on Rock Band 2. Maybe once this is launched...that could become a reality if some fans with music producing skills create some tracks. =)

I mean, this would absolutely rock. They'd just have to make careful song choices. Fitted Shirt would be a winner; that polyrhythm would seem tricky at first and then everybody would get into the groove like crazy. Don't Make Me A Target and Sister Jack could work well too.

For some reason i think they'd have to stick to mostly their older catalog, where guitar drums and bass were in most every song. I thins "June's Foreign Spell", "Believing is Art" and "Jonatahn Fisk" would be a lot of fun. For their newer stuff "Rhythm Soul" would be great I think. My obvious choices were "I Turn My Camera On" and "Don't You Evah" but those might be pretty easy and repetitive for more experienced players. Who knows, Jim Eno used to sound work for video games I THINK.

Yes I couldn't remember. I thought they both did stuff for video games, I couldn't remember. Thanks for setting the record straight. So would that make Spoon more apt to allow their songs in the game, or would they be against it? Opinions? Speculations?

This is so friggin awesome. First "American Music" by Violent Femmes, now this. AND the song selection is pretty damned sweet! I must say I'm glad it's trouble instead of sister jack or... well, nevermind, any would be good. But does this hint that Trouble will be the next single? Can we please get some b-sides, it's been months since a new spoon track and I'm having withdrawl. RB tracks hit Tuesday, set your phasers to download. BUT, to anyone rocking Lego rock Band, these tracks will not play there (although I don't know why, is there questionable language in any of these?)

Well, just buzzed through the track pack, got 5 stars expert drums on all but trouble comes running. I guess if Jim couldn't replicate that track, how should I be expected to
Next up is to attempt a sing through. Not a singer, but these songs and I have been close for a while, so i should be able to yelp out a passing go.Anyone else rocking this? Anyone need an Xbox drummer for their RB2 Spoon cover band? I'm Gnomesain there too... Could I suggest the name: "Such an American Scene". Don't wanna miss em...

That's a good point about Trouble Comes Running. Makes me wonder how Jim would do trying to play along with himself on RockBand!
