Relistening to old SPoon EPs. Man they are FANTASTIC. Love 30 Gallon Tank to Death. Mostly for the cool b-sides. You can still buy the 7" from Peek a Boo records for $5.00. That prics INCLUDES SHIPPING. A STEAL!!

Also Love Ways. Another great great EP. Every song is good in its own right.

What I love about the EPs is you go back and re-listen and fall in love again. An album is a large part of work with many songs, and EPs can easily be forgotten. Never forget the EPs!!!

Next re listen will be Soft Effects and some Get Nice!

In my opinion Soft Effects and Love Ways are sort of opposites:
Soft Effects isn't fantastic song-for-song but works amazingly as an overall package.
Love Ways has five stellar tracks but they don't feel like they make much sense together.

Various notes: "I Could Be Underground" is one of my favorite EP tracks. "Monkey Feelings" rocks. I have never listened to Get Nice! from beginning to end.

get nice is great. and i get what you mean about love ways. change my life and i didnt come here to die sorta fit together.. jealousy is good but i see it making more sense when paired with other songs.

and with regards to i could be underground and its ep, one of my other top favorite spoon songs is revenge

Yeah both B-Sides are great. I Could Be underground is one of my absolute favorites.
