@31starbright - I just signed up to the board so I could thank you for recording and posting all of those videos. Thank you! I was there all three nights too, up front to the left, in front of Alex. I think I remember who you are because of where you filmed from, and I never noticed you filming at all. Nicely played! It's great to have some quality video and sound of the new material (and Ghost...that song made me a wreck all three nights).
So, on the first night, a marketing rep for Brooklyn Bowl was going around to some of us who were there early. He said the band were putting together a last-minute meet 'n' greet backstage before the show. I got to meet Britt, Jim, and Alex (not sure where Eric was). I got a picture with them and they signed my poster. They were also digging my Walkmen shirt, which was pretty cool. Good lads, all around. Ha, I always feel awkward in these situations, anticipating I'll say something stupid and make a fool of myself. I bumped into Alex before the show on the third night. I was surprised he recognized me (maybe it's the beard), but I thanked him again for coming to Vegas. We don't get bands like Spoon out here very often. Looks like the Brooklyn Bowl is out to change that, though.
I can't get that killer bass line in Outlier out of my head, and Knock Knock Knock may have been the highlight of the shows. For the first time in a long time, I'm excited about a new release. These were the first times seeing the band for me, and I must say it took me from being a longtime big fan into full Spoonmania super fan.
