Alright, here's my own attempt at generating some chatter. It's a game!

You pick two (or more) songs that have something and common and somebody has to guess what it is those songs have in common. Use your imagination (or don't, if that's what you're feeling). I'll go first (easy one):

    Goodnight Laura
    The Ghost of You Lingers
    Chloroform

Ok I must be dumb, I really don't get it????

I'm trying so hard, maybe over thinking it???

Oh good. So I'm not the only one who can't figure it out....

...were there no bass parts in the recorded versions of these songs? No drums? Is that it? I have to go back and listen to these back to back...specifically Chloroform, I don't listen to that song too often...

It was no drums. I tried to pick something super obvious; I guess that's almost too obvious.

Someone else wanna go? Let's do this thing.

    Chloroform
    Eddie's Ragga
    Quincy Punk Episode
    Black Like Me

Whoa! I spent like ten minutes puzzling and puzzling and not getting anywhere at all, and then it suddenly clicked. If I'm actually right, then that's a really cool connection, so I want to give others a chance.

Ok yeah I totally over thank it. I was thinking like words of the song, looking at it like a word puzzle. I am way to overboard on puzzles. Ok so I will take a stab at this new one

Oh man... If you say it's tricky then we know it's gotta be something nasty. Been thinking and haven't gotten anything so far. I guess all there is to do is think some more.

Then again, I could be totally reaching. This one seems like a serious stumper.

Tyler, that IS a tough one! Off the top of my head I was going to say the connection is each one mentions at least one article of clothing, but I went and listened to all again and "Take the Fifth" and "I Summon You" don't mention articles of clothing...

They are all from albums that begin with the letter "G," but I don't think that's it (too easy).

I'm gonna keep thinking on this one.

GAH*. I'm kinda going crazy here. I keep expecting the answer to magically stare me in the face but it never does. Can you drop a hint or something? At least give some direction?
...They all prominently feature the word "oh" - I am that far down.

Acatually, Tast Prawn was correct!!! Every time I go through my ipod all the albums are right next to each other. I always make word associaition puzzles in the back of my head! So for some of you it was probanly easy, others probabnly hard. :)

Ok so Tasty Prawn gets to go next right?

He should, though I'd like to post a pretty easy one in the interim:

    Believing Is Art
    I Could See The Dude
    Don't Buy The Realistic

Songs that fade in! I think? My immediate thought upon reading all the titles and playing them in my head.

Gabriel, you say that's easy, but I'm stumped! I think work broke my brain today because I can't even think of a good one to post next. This is the only one I can think to post and it's VERY easy:

    Something To Look Forward To
    Chicago at Night
    Metal Detektor

I'm going to bed now (even though it's only 8:00 pm). I'll think more on Gabriel's tomorrow!

Tyler: You got it! Quick work with that one.

    TastyPrawn: Chicago!

Alright, this one's a little more musically oriented (but still pretty simple):

    My Mathematical Mind
    Mountain To Sound
    Chips And Dip

Well I was gonna say the same beat all the way through....but Chips and Dip kind of breaks the rule, and most definitely Mystery Zone would be included, that is unless it were too easy.....I'm listening to them all in a row, and can not think of it right now....

Meh... They're all in 3/4 meter (Chips and Dip is kind of in 6/8, but whatever). I was afraid that might be too technical for this kind of game. Here's another (not technical at all):

    Black Like Me
    Me And The Bean
    Vittorio E
    Quincy Punk Episode
    Don't Buy The Realistic
    This Book Is A Movie
    Theme To Wendel Stivers

Oh so I was kinda close with he beat? Honestly after being a musician for 8 years I still don't know beats. I count 4s in my head no matter what beat it is haha :) ok so I'll start working on this one
