What's the rarest Spoon album(s) you own?

I think mine are Jonathon Fisk single and I Turn my Camera On (UK)

Um... nothing special, but the Anticipation 7". Not even the original; it's the latest pressing on white vinyl.
I also have some "rare" songs courtesy of iTunes ("Telamon Bridge", "Tear Me Down"), but if it's on iTunes, I don't think it's considered rare anymore.

You guys are lucky. :) There are NO Spoon albums being sold here; hence, any Spoon album a person can get his/her hands on, in Manila, is a rare one. Hahaha. It's so sad.

I have some 7" records, some cd singles and ep's, and all the albums. I'm not sure what is rare and what isn't, but i like everything that I do own...

I got a first issue of Telephono on vinyl somehow off of ebay for dirt cheap. I don't know how I lucked out on that one.

I bought a Nefarious 7" from eBay a few months ago that was pretty expensive. It was my first Spoon vinyl purchase and I still need to catch up on buying the vinyl albums.

I have a promo version of "A Series of Sneaks" from the original Elektra release. Found it in a record store for $8.

The nice thing about spoon, is there are a LOT of singles and other rarities to collect, so it can be quite fun and challenging!

I have a lot of the rare stuff, been collecting since I discovered them in 2001, and have most vinyl and CDs now. I guess Soft Effects on 12" is one of my favourites - I like that it has a completely different cover.

I guess the early singles are rare...hum. I have All of the Negatives 7" and the Anticipation 7". I also purchased the Soft Effects 12" at a Spoon show (got the set list also, and placed it inside for safe keeping) and A Series of Sneaks on Red Vinyl. I would love to pick up the Nefarious 7". I have the Drake Tungsten 7" as well and I believe I bought that when Britt performed under that moniker, but I might have picked it up at a shop.

I figure i'll just post my collection, as I'm always interested to see what others have, so now you can see what i've got. In relative chronological order. Loveways CD
    Girls Can Tell CD
Spoon/Swearing at Motorists 7" (interested in knowing the amt pressed)
    Kill The Moonlight CD
    Jonathan Fisk CD single

    Sister Jack US CD
Something to Look Forward To Promo CD

I just read about the "Swearing at Motorists" 7". It said that there was a limited numbered edition of 100 copies with hand printed silk screen cover art printed at Kangaroo Press.

    On vinyl label: SA005

    Etched on runout grooves: SA009

The most rare Spoon item out there is the Drake Tungsten cassette. I got that from Britt at the electric lounge in 92,93? Something like that. Has unreleased stuff, and stuff that made it onto albums later on. I still have three or four copies, they are like gold!

That is pretty rare, one of the few things I don't have yet. I saw a copy on eBay but it went for stupid money.

Hey Wilco, just thinking is there any way I could get a scan of the cover from you? The pic on my Discography page is not that good.

I have a question. PLEASE HELP!:

I saw a Vinyl pressing of "A Series of Sneaks" brand new at the record store in my town. It did not have the bonus "Laffite" tracks at the end, it was the original 14 track album. It WAS a Merge labeled album, but all the vinyls I look up HAVE the "Laffite" tracks at the end....is this rare? I don't know much about this one?

The Merge vinyl LP I've seen doesn't have the Laffite tracks either, I'd assume they've been intentionally left off because you can still buy the vinyl single.
