So what happened to "Naff Bag", "Millionaires", "Modern Girls" and "I ain't the one"?
I was really hoping to hear a song called Naff Bag. Maybe they just retitled them?

YO what happened to Signs of Life? It was the slightly political jawn. Spoon played it live a few times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOiUI34Mdc4

Doesa anyone else remember, I want to say it was before Gimme Fiction was released, there was a tracklist released prior to the album. I think one of the songs was Fish Fingers. It was all bogus, haha.

Probably just working titles? Yesterday by the Beatles was originally called Scrambled Eggs yknow?

Maybe signs of life will be a b side?

I wonder what happened to Mary Roachford? I like that one. Would have possibly fit on this album, its sort of like Do You.

    EDIT:

Nevermind. I guess it was a cover?? Or is this band a cover of the unreleased Spoon song?

    EDIT EDIT

Ive always loved the demos for Kill THe Moonlight that pointed to a different direction. Like Is This The Last Time. That would have been impressive on TWMS, since they went back to Rainy Taxi. It would fit in with Outlier and Rainy Taxi. I'm glad they sort of ended up fleshing out that direction.

@iamthekey I agree. "Is this the Last Time" was already released though! It was a b-side on the Someone Something single. The 7" was very reasonable years ago from their merge store I believe. It also has "In The Right Place The Right Time". So 3 songs total on the 7". I like both those b-sides a lot.

I'm pretty sure I read/heard somewhere in the press leading up to this album that the band recorded several songs with Joe Chiccarelli that were ultimately scrapped/replaced when they did the second half of the album with Dave Fridmann. In the NPR interview, Britt seemed happier with their time with Fridmann than Chiccarelli (who is the poppier, more commercially friendly of the two).
