Looking for original master of Gimme Fiction on Vinyl

Hey just like the title says, Ive become obsessed with getting the original master of Gimme Fiction on record. Im just not that jazzed abt the new master- sounds overly compressed to me. Fine for Spotify but on record I just want the OG, Its my favorite sounding recording of all time.

Anyway, any advice on tracking it down? The closest Ive found is on ebay the Slay On Cue pressing. I know most of them are the original masters but not sure if that includes Gimme Fiction.

Hey man so I don’t think the slay on cue is the original unfortunately. And I totally agree with you! Not super into the remaster on vinyl... Try to search my serial #MRG265LP

Yeah I’d use that # and search discogs site. There are sellers that are selling used and new versions!

thanks man. I checked discogs with that code but unfortunately both the reissue and OG have the same code... ill give it another look tho. I think the only difference is printed on the record itself which is a drag.

Really? Mine is different...maybe because I have the two disc version of the anniversary?
