First time I have ever seen Spoon live and they did not disappoint! They were note perfect and charismatic throughout! Tracks old and new all sounded great and the Leeds crowd loved every minute.

To make it even better I got to meet Britt and the band after :) What a legend he was!!! I was a bit of a drunk fool but he was very cool and humoured me :) I seem to recall talking about Paris and Peanut Butter!!!! If you are reading this - thanks for making a huge fan very happy!!!! The best bit was . . . . . he had heard of this group! Brilliant night! Thanks Spoon!!!

Oh an Britt if you're reading this . . . .join the group ;)

Met the band last night after the Shepherds Bush gig. They were all very cool with me, and I met Adam Buxton, which was a pleasent bonus.

And Rob agreed with me that Kings of Leon suck.

Saw the photo, Si. Did you ask Britt first if you could dig through his bag before you dove in? That's incredible. Glad you got to meet him!

I have a question for you, Si: Was the live version of Written in Reverse just as heavy and manic as it was when played during the Shepherd's Bush gig?

Sounds about right. The London gig was great; Compared to the Electric Ballroom gig back in February, Britt was a lot more energetic, and the rest of the guys were on top form. Not that the February gig wasn't awesome, but the band seemed to be a lot more into Shepherds Bush show.

And I got to meet the guys afterwards. So apart from not getting Mary's number, it was a pretty excellent night.

I taped the Shepherds Bush show so I'll up it online soon. It wasn't my best recording but ok.
