Was just watching Food Network Canada, and they have a newish show called "The Main" with Anthony Sedlak as the host. Their intro song is note-for-note (not same production quality though) "I Turn My Camera On". Check out their Videos section of the show's micro-site. Click on "Prosciutto 1" and you'll hear it:

    What's up with that?

It's not available in the US.

I recorded it and dumped it as an .mp3. It's up on filedropper:

    How. Annoying.

I wonder who made/recorded this though?

The site was available but it gave me a warning when I tried to access the videos that I couldn't watch it in the US.

I found that guy's website and his email address is anthony_sedlak@hotmail.com. I wrote to the producers or whoever at The Main and also Food Network Canada to ask them who did the theme song and if they sampled Spoon or came up with that beat on their own and I have not gotten a response yet. They might not get my email since I'm in the US and all.

Blimey, that is surely more than a co-incidence. My Sweet Lord!

Yikes, that is pretty close. However, one important thing is that the melody is not sampled but rather the beat. Hard to stake claim to a beat.

That Rilo Kiley clip is kind of familiar too, huh?!

  13. I came to the same conclusion about "The Main" theme song and emailed the Food Network. I have finally received a response, which is lame.

    Here it is:

Thank you for contacting Food Network Canada .

We are delighted to hear that you enjoy The Main’s theme music so much! The composer of the music is Asher Lenz from Lenz Entertainment, and it is an original track produced specifically for the show. We hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you for taking the time to write to Food Network Canada . We hope you continue to enjoy our programming.

    Sincerely,

    Viewer Relations
    Food Network Canada

So from there I went to the site for Lenz Entertainment: www.lenzent.com and sent an email to their contact address. No response as of yet.
