Excuse me if this is a duplicate, but I could have swore there was a topic of this already, but don't see it anymore.
Anyways, anyone go to this? How was Spoon? Setlist? Pics? Videos? Other bands? It's been some time since they've played a show!!

I just realized that Pitchfork has a live webcast of the shows!! Spoon plays today, Saturday 5th @ 8:30PM(Central) on the Orange Stage.

I was at the show they did at ND last night, here's the set list:
That was my first time hearing them play "Sister Jack" live! I didn't see Spoon during the Gimme Fiction era so seeing them do this song was a treat The only song on that set list that they didn't do is "Small Stakes."
I have the rest of my photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/starbright31/sets/72157628056390090
I'll have stuff to post from tonight's Fun Fun Fun Fest performance later...
Great pics! I wish I could have been there, i'm super jealous of everyone who got to see them. I'm going into Spoon withdrawal (:
I was there with 31starbright! Here's the setlist from their FFFFest performance. It's not much different from the ND setlist, apart from them playing Small Stakes instead of Finer Feelings, and they actually played You Gotta Feel It but it's not on the setlist
Loved the lighting they used at the FFF set (was also used at ND).
Question to 31starbright & sharkust: The ND show was not a standard/publicly advertised Nites show; would you guys mind sharing what magic you worked to gain entry?
I wasn't actually at the ND show because I wasn't in Austin yet and it's a 21+ show and I'm under 21 (boo). Actually Spoon had a tweet telling people to watch out their site for something ~special. It was a page to RSVP for the free show at ND and all you have to do is just submit your name and e-mail. The page looked something like this and I guess it was only up for a short while because when I checked it the next day it's already gone.
Yup, exactly what sharkust said, the @spoontheband twitter account sent that message for Austinites to look at the spoon site at 10 PM. I'm not from Austin, but since I was going there for the festival, I thought it'd be smart for me to also check in case they were adding another show for that weekend. My suspicions were right because right at 8 PM my time, I RSVP'd and got a confirmation email saying I was in! I think within an hour or two it said the RSVP list was closed.
It's a shame this show wasn't publicized that much because it sure didn't feel like it was packed right away- by the time that Spoon came on the venue looked full, but for a while there wasn't a lot of people. I read on some other local Austin music blog that the venue eventually just started letting people in anyway because they had messed up with the list.
I guess it's a good thing I have all of Spoon's tweets sent to my phone as text messages anytime they tweet something. It's so rare when they tweet anything so it's nice to get updates from them like this.
Thanks, guys. I saw the tweet shortly after it was sent but missed the 10 p.m. time and, as sharkust described, the message was gone by the time I checked the site later that night. Dang it.
Would have loved to be here. WOuld have loved to hear Sister Jack live. One of my favorites.
