Here's a small blurb about Spoon's upcoming show at Forecastle that mentions their newest release, "Transcendence"!

I'm pumped. Last time I saw Spoon was exactly 1 year ago in Austin at the SpoonX3 show at Stubb's. Actually got engaged that night while they were playing I Summon You. Can't wait to see them again this weekend.

Not yet. The wedding is 10/10/10.

Louisville show was great as usual. Wasn't a big fan of "Love Song" (The Damned Cover) but solid set besides that.
Since the last show(s) I saw Spoon perform was X3 in Austin....where everyone was there to see Spoon, Louisville felt different. Even when I saw Spoon at Bonnaroo a few years ago it seemed the crowd was a bit more responsive. I'd have to say most people responded better to their older stuff and of the songs with the horns. They had local (louisville) guys on the horns which was very cool. I take it that is the norm for their shows? I'd post some pics but all I got were crappy iPhone pics. =(

I registered just to reply to this! I was actually at Forecastle too and I was tripping my BALLS off man! I only went Sunday because I had been DYING to see Spoon 'cus they're pretty much my favorite band (besides the Lips) so when I found out they were BOTH playing at the SAME fest on the SAME stage right after each other, I could NOT miss the opportunity! But anyways, I dropped a hit before She & Him, so by the time Spoon started that's when everything started to get balls to the wall haha! Spoon's performance fucking BLEW MY MIND! I was right up front wearing a Gimme Fiction t-shirt and Britt was looking at me and smiling! It was so awesome! He had to know I was tripping balls! Their performance of The Ghost of You Lingers was AMAZING! I love how they were able to add those effects and shit, it really fucked with my mind! And I loved when the horn section came in too! And then I was right up front for the LIPS and I got ran over in the bubble and everything!!!! THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE (besides this years Bonnaroo ;) ). You wouldn't happen to have the set-list that Spoon played would you? I would like to know all that they played cus I was kind of wacked out of my mind haha. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME IF YOU DID!

Ha ha ha! - I bet a lot more people would enjoy A Ghost of You Lingers live if they were in the same state of mind as you were. I'm jealous. Spoon and The Lips, one right after the other? That's incredible!

So it's been 3 months... and I've searched everywhere. So I'm guessing NO ONE in attendance to their performance at Forecastle had their set list? GAHHHHH!
