Good stuff! Hard disagree about Chicago at Night tho of course. Just some constructive criticism, I really like it when you break down elements of each song. It might be better overall for the pod if you focus on that and trivia about each song instead of "reviewing" the albums track by track. If we are listening to the pod 99% of us already love Spoon. But for instance, on Chicago At Night I know they had two separate mixes of the songs done, and they liked the left channel of one and the right channel of the other, so they stuck the two mixes together. Really creative decision and it gives the song a really cool vibe, you can hear two different bass lines on the left and right side. So throwing out tidbits about each song I think would benefit the pod more, than just saying I like this song, i dont care for this one.
Oh also, 1020AM I believe is about a radio station going defunct, not a time of day. But I like it can be interpreted as a time.
Anyway, my 2cents, love the pod, looking forward to Mike McCarthy interview, great job getting that OG version of Me and The Bean! Been dying to hear that for forever. I found that bands myspace back in the day and they had quite a few good songs, but could never find that one. I had a feeling int was in that mix of 90s/John Lennon style tho.
