I wonder how many of you have seen this...I don't know how old it is, but it's Britt doing "I Summon You" in the back of a London taxi while wearing some sexy shades. Pretty cool, although the cameraman has a bothersome habit of taking the camera off the performance to follow random pedestrians down the street.

Naw, never saw that before. Thanks for posting it! But I gotta say I think the cameraman never left the performance - showing the peeps on the street made it more authentic for the one-take shoot that it was.

Yeah, that was really cool. One of the better live Spoon videos I've seen. That's one of my favorite songs to play.

    After

      Nightline

had a "Sign of the Times" about the black cab sessions, I immediately thought that Spoon would have done that. Shouldn't be surprised it was just Britt -- woulda been kinda crowded with all the guys there!

That video is a testament to the brilliance of "I Summon You" (and Britt's songwriting in general). It's just as electrifying in the back of a cab as it is all dressed up on the record.

Wow. He did a good job with those high notes. And just the singing in general. I think I would prefer this to a full-band arrangement during a show.
(Not that I've ever been to one)

Excellent stuff. I love the pedestrian who gets caught in the look.
