Britt Daniel talks about the songs that define the band. Lots of love in the comments too.

This is awesome! I've always thought Mountain to Sound was criminally underappreciated.

Great article. After reading I re listened to kill the Moonlight last night. Man are there so many good tracks. I think Paper Tiger is one of the greatest songs sonically they have ever done. They don't really play that live though? Which is ok. Such a good recording

I doubt that they still play it, but I've heard Paper Tiger live several times...maybe three times....back in the Gimme Fiction era. It was nice too. It was all about Eno hammering cymbals and toms with those soft mallets.

I know :( I have the bonus track of a live version. Drums sounds so big. I really love it. But it is definitely an amazing recording. Not necessarily a live hit.
