    Ok guys,

So I have had this idea to do a podcast for many years now. I have the passion, and lots of ideas, and a pretty good knowledge of the discog etc. I really would love help with ideas organizing, things, and maybe have some spoon fans as guests. I'd really like to do a comprehensive album by album and release review, but also additional eps, maybe somehow with the band having time off I could get band interviews? I don't know, as you guys know I like to talk, and and I love Spoon.

Let me know thoughts, ideas etc. I have some musical equipment, and computer software, so I'd have to test some ways to record too.

And of course any support with promo etc.

Love to all bros and broettes!

I would look into getting a great microphone. One I would recommend is the Blue Yeti. I would suggest outlining your podcast and seeing how much material you could actually pull. I would look into maybe doing a short series for the band. Something like "A History of Spoon" situation, nothing ongoing. Being like a definitive guide to the band and albums thus far. I ran a fan website back in the day and it gets hard to keep it going when there's a three-four year wait in between albums, so something with more scope I think will keep your motivation on the project. It's like making a documentary for the band that someone can easily digest their history and get caught up. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the input. Yeah i might make it weekly if we have some spoon date to look forward to or something. Just in infancy right now. It want it to be for old and new fans, and help draw in new people. Obviously not like exclude people, but make people feel apart of a club in a way. Anyway keep the ideas coming. Appreciate it

Even once a month might be good, I would subscribe to it if the research pans out.
